Lent and Easter at CABC
Lent is the 40 days (excluding Sundays) leading up to Easter Sunday and our celebration of Jesus' resurrection. At CABC, we will be offering special times of worship and study to help you as you focus on Christ's great love for us during this time. If you have any questions, please give us a call (540-774-2084) or send us a message.

Lenten Devotions
Join us as we do "Inward Work for Outward Living." Each day's devotion includes a scripture reading and teaches us the practices of examen – honest assessment and reflection – with meditation, visualization and short prayers. They are available here and in printed form in the church foyer. We will also share suggested scripture readings each week in our bulletin.

Lenten Bible Study: Seeing Through the Eyes of Jesus
Wednesdays at Noon
Rev. Steven Harris leads us in this study provided by Cooperative Baptist Fellowship to give us an opportunity to focus on truly seeing Jesus - and seeing the world around us and our neighbors through Jesus' eyes. We’ll be encouraged to examine Jesus’ mission and our calling to carry it out in fresh ways and to explore spiritual disciplines and faith practices that call us to deepen and expand your commitment to be Christ in the world. Join us in person in the conference room (enter by the office door) or by Zoom.

Local Missions Emphasis
Part of our vision at CABC is to show Christ to the world. During Lent, we focus especially on our work right here in our community. Along with taking up an offering that is shared among many local organizations, we also volunteer at the Rescue Mission, Feeding America, and Keystone Community Center.
