MidWeek Bible STUDY, Wednesdays at Noon
Join us in the conference room for Bible study led by Rev. Steven Harris. From now through November, we will be looking at what the Bible says it means to be human - who we are created to be and how we can live into that calling.
Bring your lunch, if you'd like, and feed your body and soul!
If you would prefer to join by Zoom,

What We Believe About Discipleship
We believe that being a disciple of Christ is a life-long journey, not a one-time accomplishment. Discipleship is the ongoing process of loving God, others, and ourselves. It is knowing Jesus and making Him known to others, applying God’s Word in our daily lives, and walking in the Holy Spirit. As a church, we want to create an environment that nurtures faith and offers opportunities to put that faith into action. We offer Bible study classes with the goal of helping children, youth and adults understand how Scripture connects to our lives in God’s world. We also provide topical studies in a variety of other areas of Christian life, including prayer, spirituality, Christian leadership development, and faithful living. In all areas, we want to encourage everyone we touch to use their hearts and minds to think deeply about what it means to follow Christ in all aspects of life.
Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ. This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ. Then we will no longer be immature like children. We won’t be tossed and blown about by every wind of new teaching. We will not be influenced when people try to trick us with lies so clever they sound like the truth. Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church. He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love. Ephesians 4:11-16
