YOUTH MINISTRY
In our youth ministry, everything we do, including fellowship (just for fun) events, worship, Bible study, and missions projects, is intended to help our youth develop closer relationships with each other, with their families and church family, with our community, and with God. Our goal as a youth ministry is to be like the early church as it is described in Acts 2, focusing on Adoration (worship), Community (building relationships with each other), Truth (Bible study), and Service/sharing. These four things were the basis for the early church's ministry, and they are what we focus our youth ministry around – for the same purpose: that we might praise God, enjoy the favor of people, and most importantly, that we might be witnesses so that others will want to come to know Jesus.
We join the rest of the church for worship on Sunday mornings, as well as studying the Bible in our Youth Sunday School class. During the school year, on Sunday evenings, we have dinner and discipleship from 5-7 p.m. We also serve our community through teaching children at the Rescue Mission and have fun events each month.
